 Celebrated nationally for her expertise, she has a remarkable talent for turning complex challenges into exciting, actionable solutions that create climate-safe and adaptive communities. Her visionary leadership has been instrumental in groundbreaking initiatives like San Francisco's first utility-sponsored environmental community policy and California's pioneering off-grid environmental justice learning center.

Laurie was the Senior Advisor on Housing Policy, and Climate Resilience at the White House from 2022-2024, and formerly Director of Climate and Sustainability for Enterprise Community Investment.
